Skate ski boots are designed to be very stiff - like a cycling shoe. The common thought is that a stiff sole will transfer power better to the ski. We carry skate boots from Fischer, Madshus, and Salomon. Be sure that your boot and binding is compatible (Salomon must use Salomon bindings, Fischer & Madshus must use NNN bindings)
Skadi Boot Buddies will help keep snow from clogging up the bars on your boot before after after you ski. Now you no longer need to try to tap and dig out the ice just so you can step into your binding. The Boot Buddies extend beyond the toe aloowing for a firm grip for removal.
